how do you figure out?

2 ^ + 3 * 4- (08/01)

and

5 (x-1) + 7 = 2x-4

do not need the answers but dare you figure it out: D

2 ^ + 3 * 4- (08/01) is this right equation?

and for 5 (x-1) + 7 = 2x-4 answers is

=> 5x-5+7 =2x-4

=> 3x+2=-4

=> 3x =-6

=>x =-2
