I think the most important thing in life is planning for eternity. Eternity is a long time…
One of the most important components of wisdom (perhaps the most important component) is foresight. If you ask people on their deathbeds how fast life passed them by, they’ll say things such as “it flashed by like greased lightning!” As a wise man once observed, this life is a vapor, here and gone in an instant. Therefore one should prioritize eternal concerns first, then let the other concerns take their places of priority in order of relative importance.
Seek truth and wisdom, as The Book of Proverbs emphasizes. This is an investment of time you will not regret. I’m confident that if you do so, you will come across books like mine, or those like it, which have exposed beautiful and incredible evidence that God has spoken to us in a variety of ways, and if we respond reasonably, we can look forward to an eternity of bliss with Him.
