Chopin didn't actually name his own etudes. The names were nicknames given to the pieces by others (much to the dismay of the composer - it happened to many other composers, like Beethoven with the Moonlight Sonata), so this one was most likely dubbed "Wrong Note" because of the series of dissonant minor seconds at the beginning.
