Are phenylboranes susceptible to ipso or meta electrophilic aromatic substitution, i.e. what's the regioselectivity?

It depends on what is attached to the boron group. If the boron substituents are activating, then it would be ortho-para directing and if they are deactivating, then it would be meta-directing.
