This is an interesting function, as it has a singularity at x=2. But, at 0, the value is 1/2, and it is smooth from 0 to - infinity, where it goes to 0. So, you can integrate it directly from 0 to A, where A<0. It is more interesting if A> 0.
However, since the integral of (x-2)-4 is -5(x-2)-5, it should be straight forward.
