How do I use the audit trail function on QuickBooks Online?

The audit log is on by default. The following is from the Quickbooks Online Help:

You can use the Audit Log to research changes made to individual or multiple transactions. Information you'll find includes:

1. the date of the change
2. the name of the user who made the change
3. the type of change or event
4. the name of a customer or vendor related to the change
5. and any original transaction date and amount
