Professional Software/ Web Developer Specializing in Java
Javascript and JQuery are the next step. After that, use PHP and learn about core web design principles such as client side vs server side execution. And while you could do testing with just these tools, its honestly better/ more lucrative to learn an object oriented language such as Java or C# next because there are testing libraries that can handle web and application testing and thats where most of the work is. So after you're familiar with the tools of the trade such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, and PHP, next is to learn a language that will enable you to do all forms of testing. After that, I would get a degree of some kind (4 or 2 year), and if that isn't an option look up how to get certified.
Not sure if you already work in IT, but get a job as closely related to computers as possible ASAP. From there, get experience and look for jobs in the testing sector.
