Get blocks from Autocad /Maps into excel?

I would like to get some objects on a Autocad map layer and extract their name, color and position and place them into an excel sheet in the following manner: Object Name | Color | Coordinates Is there any way to do that programatically? Is there any tool/plugin that already does that?

The only and best way that I know of in how to link and use spreadsheets that can live update is by using a feature called OLE.

Which is called Object Linking and Embedded. I used this feature to update map concentrations for volatile chemicals that needed to be updated on a daily basis.
