There's a lot missing here that would help color in the most effective answer. I feel this question is for the candidate to evaluate their priorities. If the manager meeting is set to begin in ten minutes, you'll want to get that room cleaned up. If the meeting is in two hours, you can find the janitorial staff to come help you get it squared away. If someone is in the office you can have them answer the phone. An email is not the best medium for urgent communications anyway, so you can handle that fire in the time you've been given.
The candidate could answer in a number of ways that would be suitable, as long as they don't let any fire burn without finding a way to attend to it.
