Divide the mass in grams of C2H3O2 by the molecular weight (in grams per mole) of C2H3O2. That will give the number of moles. If you do not know the molecular weight of C2H3O2, look up the atomic weights (in grams per mole) of C, H, and O, and add them as
2(C) + 3(H) + 2(O).
That gives the molecular weight of C2H3O2.
