Simple(?) Vector Problem

A river flows northward with a velocity of 3 km/hr. A man rows a boat eastward with a velocity 4 km/hr relative to the water. The river is 1 km wide.
a) find his speed and direction relative to the earth
b) how far north of his initial point will he reach the opposite bank?
c) find the time taken.

Now I figured his speed is 5 km/hr but am getting his direction as 36.9° north of east. Is that correct?

And I can't figure out b) or c).
