asked 04/23/18Ive got this question. Theres 30 teams that are versing each other head to head; making 15 games. Given that there are only two outcomes from each game (no drawing/tie), how many possible results are there after the 15 games are finished. I’ve tried to work out whether to use permutations or combinations and other techniques but none seem to be accurate. Just in case my explanation isn’t clear, I’m trying to see how many outcomes can come from the 15 rounds (so I can figure out the probability of guessing the results). Also the question has to be using these exact numbers for it to be useful. Thanks
