Calming Math Anxiety one Student at a Time
Hi, Sammad!
If I am reading the table correctly, the first X and Y entries are used to solve for k:
2 = 4k. k = .5
From there you would solve for Y in the next set of entries: Y = (.5)(6) Y = 3
Then solve for X: 3.5 = (.5)(X) X = 7
And finally another Y: Y = (.5)(15) Y = 7.5
If I misunderstood the table, please let me know!
