If i'm lying 120 feet away from a 50 feet tree, approximately how far is my head from the tree in a straight line?

Along the ground, it is 120 ft away from the tree.  If you mean how far to the top of the tree, then the distance is the hypotenuse of the right triangle whose base is 120 ft and whose height is 50 ft.
