At a community center, you want to rope off an area that is adjacent to a building. The length of the building is 12 ft. You have 62 feet of rope. What are the possible widths of the roped-off area?

The question does not state that the area is required to be in the shape of a rectangle. 

There are infinitely many answers.  It's a poor question, really.

Besides a rope, what else do you have to work with (posts?)
