Hey Sheily,
The first thing I notice is that every term in the equation has a denominator! If we multiply the entire equation by the LCD (lowest common denominator), we can completely eliminate all denominators and solve for x easily!
6* [(3x-1)/(6) - (x+3)/(2) = (3x+4)/(3)]
(3x-1) - 3(x+3) = 2(3x+4)
3x-1-3x-9 = 6x+8
-10 = 6x+8
-18 = 6x
-3 = x
