help simplfy expressions

Please help simplify these expressions:
 
1.  √a + √b
     √a - √b
 
 
2.  √5 + 1
     √5 - 1
 
 
3.  3√2 - 2√3
 
 
4.  √3(√6 - 2√3)
 
5.  √18 - √3
        √6

The denominator is 4, but the numerator is:
 
(√5+1)(√5+1) =  √5√5+2√5+1 = 5+2√5+1 = 6 + 2√5
 
You can factor a 2 out so the numerator becomes 2(3+√5)
 
Hence the answer to #2 is (3+√5)/2

#5 can be further simplified, Steve, since √18 = 3√2
 
3√2(√6-1)/6 = (3√12 - 3√2)/6 = (6√3 - 3√2)/6 = 3(2√3 - √2)/6 = (2√3 - √2)/2
