I CAN teach you Mathematics!!
Jane,
I will assume that when the number 2 appears after a variable, it indicates a power:
2x+15+6x+2y^2+7y+19+6x^2 (first group like variables - parenthesis helps for visual distinction)
(6x^2 +2x+6x)+(2y^2 +7y)+15+19 (now we can combine like terms)
(6x^2 +8x)+(2y^2 +7y)+34
At this point, since you are in Algebra 1 - I'm not sure if you've covered circles yet, so I'll leave it as such.
