Write the equation in slope-intercept form of the line that has a slope of 2 and contains the point (4, 2).

I honestly have no idea how to do this. I've never had a problem like this. Please help!

I know you're probably not going to like me saying this, but you need to understand a couple of things.

One, everyone answering questions on here are doing it voluntarily, when they have time, around their schedules.  You need to try to understand and respect that idea, and realize that you may have to wait on a response.

Second, you are no more, or less, important than anyone else on here.  You need to have respect for the other students on here who also have questions.  ASAP is your responsibility, not ours, and you need to take that responsibility for yourself and not project it on other people.

I'm not making any attempt to be rude, just to get you to understand that you can't put your own responsibilities on others, and that you need to respect other people's needs and time.

I agree with Kay, the answers asked on here do take a little bit to be answered because teachers don't get paid to do this, so they are doing this voluntarily so you need to have some patience.
