1) acyl chlorides are turned into amides

2) amides are turned to amines

3) amines are turned into alkyl ammonium cations

4) Assuming a single mole of Ag2O and not excess, you'll get two alkenes. Otherwise, you will convert all three alkyl ammonium ions to alkenes.

to be more precise:

 

1) acyl chlorides undergo addition/elimination (carbonyl substitution) to become tertiary amides.

2) teriary amides are reduced by LAH into 3^o amines.

3) the amines do not become alkyl ammonium cations. That is aqueous work up to remove the Aluminum conjugates.

This step is not a transformation. If cations formed, the next step would not work. 

4) Ag₂O is used to create a Cope elimination precursor which eliminates in anti Zaitzev fashion. 

5) ****There is no base provided. However, assuming the elimination occurs, only one elimination can occur within this cyclopropane.
