find the coordinates of the midpoint of each side of the triangle
then find the slope of the median to that side
then find the y-intercept
I'll do the median to AB and you do the other two.
(-2+6)/2, 3+(-5)/2
4/2, -2/2
(2,-1) is the midpoint of AB
find the slope of that median
use (8,5) and (2,-1)
(5-[-1])/(8-2)=6/6=1
y=mx+b
m=1
y=x+b
use either point and slope-intercept form or point-slope form to find b
5=8+b
b=5-8
b=-3
y=x-3 is the equation for the median to AB
follow the same procedure for the other two medians
