In the Hill system, molecular formulas are written with the elements in this order:
(1) the number of carbon atoms
(2) the number of hydrogen atoms
(3) the number of all other chemical elements in alphabetical order of the chemical symbols.
If there are no carbon atoms in the molecule, all the elements, including hydrogen, are listed in alphabetical order.
C8H10N4O2 is written in the Hill system.
