The cardinality of a finite set is a natural number: the number of elements in the set.
Example: The cardinal number of the set A = {2, 3, 5, 7, 9} is 5.
The problem gives the set:
{2, 4, 6, 8, 10, . . . , 16}
The ellipsis (the "...") can be filled in to make the set:
{2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16} [note: although there may be other possibilities]
So, count the number of elements in that set.
