Solve the following inequality. Graph the solution set and write it in interval notation

10x-6<9x-4

If you needed to graph x<2 in a Cartesian plane with
x-axis and y-axis you would draw a vertical dashed line
at x=2 and shade everything to the left of that line.
 
The dashed line indicates x=2 is not included.  If the
inequality was x≤2 you would draw a solid vertical line
at x=2 and shade the area to the left.
