Sorry, this is not correct.
 
The point-slope form is Y- y sub 1 = m (X - x sub 1).
 
In this case the point provided is (1,-2) which means that the x-value is 1 while the y-value is -2.
 
The correct equation is y + 2 = m (x-1) where m is the slope of the line. In your question, there is no mention of the value of the slope. If another point that satisfies this equation is (0,0), then the slope of this linear equation is -2.
