Surendra is correct in that this problem is impossible to solve. You need at least as many equations as variables. You have 1 equation and two variables. This does define a line which can be brought in a more standard slope-intercept form of y=4-x which is graphed below

There are two unknowns and just one equation.

You need one more equation to solve for x and y
