This is one where you would want to use partial fraction decomposition in order to break it all the way down.
That means starting with the general form
5x + 1 = A(x+1)^2 + B*(x−4)(x+1) + C(x−4)
From there then you want to solve directly for the values of A, B, and C and then use the properties of logarithms in order to simplify as much as possible!
