There are a lot of answers, or possible answers, to this question. (Which bodes well for you if this is some kind of short answer or writing assignment. Some people think the Minoan's were wiped out by a volcanic eruption, which caused a tsunami, which caused a flood, which destroyed a large percentage of their population. It is sometimes said that the Minoan's are the possible link to the fable of the city of Atlantis. Keep in mind that a civilization does not generally disappear in a few days. It is after a long period of of issues. Some of these might include, take over, enslavery, etc from another group. It could be related to climate change, which could have effected things like fresh water levels, pproductivity of crops, etc. These could have caused large scale death and/or migration.
