Since you're talking about "Binomials Squared," I assume you meant: (5d - 7d2t)2
To square a binomial you add the following three things:
The square of the first term
The square of the second term
Twice the product of the two terms
That's just another way of saying (a + b)2 = (a + b) (a + b) = a2 + 2ab + b2, which is the most basic square of a polynomial and is easy to see, just by multiplying each term in the first parentheses by each term in the second parentheses and collecting the like terms together.
In this case, the first term is 5d, so the square of that is (5d)2 = 52d2 = 25d2
The second term is -7d2t, so the square of that is (-7d2t) = (-7)2 (d2)2 t2 = 49 d4 t2
Multiply the two together and you get (5d)(-7d2t) = -35 d d2 t = -35 d3 t.
So the sum is 25d2 - 35d3t + 49d4t2
