Hi Kaitlynne -- mostly gravity and some heat (radiation).  The sun keeps earth in orbit and at a nice temp. Gravitation depends on how massive the bodies are and how close: Fg= G *M sun * m earth / r^2.  Radiation depends on how hot the bodies are and how close. Of these two, gravity dominates ...
