Use the properties of logarithms to expand the following expression as much as possible. Simplify any numerical expressions that can be evaluated without a calculator. log2(2x2+8x+8)

I don't think that's the answer. The answer has _+_log_(_____) ....the _ represents fill in boxes. I'm not sure what the answer would be

Ok, then you might have to plug in
log2 (2) into the calculator  to get a value, let's say x
Now log2 (x+2) + log2 (x+2) is 
log2 (x+2)^2
When you have exponents you can move it to the front of the log 
2log2 (x+2)
So the answer is:
x + 2log2 (x+2)
