John's house if 3/5 of mile from school. On his way home he stops at the library which is 1/4 mile from the school and 1/7 mile from his home. how far did he ride his bike today
This problem is physically impossible. The total homeward distance 1/4 + 1/7 = 11/28 < 3/5 but the lengths of 2 sides of a triangle can never sum to less than the length of the other side.
