When you register for the ASWB Master's level exam, you will select a Pearson VUE test center location. At the Pearson VUE test center, there will be other test-takers who are there for a variety of academic and professional exams. So, while you may run into a classmate or colleague there, you may also find architects, engineers, or nurses. Do not be surprised if other test takers are there for more or less time than you are, as they are likely taking very different types of exams.
The exam is administered by computer in a highly secure testing environment. You will have to leave any personal items in a locker for the duration of the exam, but you may retrieve food and water from the locker during a break. Expect to encounter airport-style security measures such as showing that your pockets are empty, as well as validating your fingerprint when you enter the testing room and whenever you return from a break.
