How many questions are on the ASWB exam?

There are 170 questions on each of the ASWB exams. However, only 150 questions count toward your score. The other 20 questions are experimental items that are included for purposes of validation and norming of their difficulty level. The experimental questions do not look any different from the scored questions, and are randomly inserted throughout your exam. You will have no way of knowing which questions count and which do not.
