asked 10/05/22If my session is shorter do I have to pay for the full thing.
My session is set for one hour and 15 mins. What happens if we only take 30 mins. Do I have to pay for the whole time?

This is different with each instructor. I will only charge in increments of 0.5 hours, so you will only pay for 1/2 an hour. However, if it is 1 minute, it is still 0.5 hours. This is because I have prep time, that you don't see, and even showing up requires me to invest time into your focus' to make sure I fully understand the nuances, or else do some research on them, so I can explain it, and you get your money's worth.
If I don't understand it, which has happened, I feel it's only right and proper to offer a partial or even full refund (i.e., not charge) as I am offering to help you for a fee, and if I don't do that, then I have not provided you services, and thus should not charge for them.
Sometimes I get long winded, or have to explain a very tough concept, and if I am not doing that well, I will just let the session continue, without charging, as I feel that having the student understand the concept is what they are paying for, and it's my job to teach it. If I don't within the allotted time, I just failed on my end, and will work until the student either understands, or has to leave/wants to go -- without charging additional fees.
