Common fixes for QuickBooks won't open issue

Question

A lot of people reported experiencing a "Quickbooks Won't Open(https://qberror.com/quickbooks-wont-open/) Error". This can happen when you are opening the program and then it shuts down without any warning. If this is happening to you, there can be two reasons for this:

1) You have encountered a virus or

2) Quickbooks has stopped recognizing your computer as being compatible with the software. If you are getting this error after a recent Windows 10 update, you'll need to uninstall Quickbooks and then reinstall it. You can do this by:

1) Clicking Start,

2) Search and then type Uninstall Programs,

3) Select Quickbooks and then click Uninstall.

4) Click Next and then wait for Quickbooks to be uninstalled.

5) Go back to the Start menu and search for Quick books again,

6) Click on Quickbooks and then click on the reinstall button.

7) Follow the instructions to install Quickbooks for Windows 10
