Hi William. Good question.
The answer depends on your role in the lesson.
As a tutor, you will be able to enter the classroom early, and part of that process is a sound and visual check. It runs automatically.
As a student, you can use your computer's (tablet's, phone's) camera app to record a sample video of yourself. If you see and hear the video, you should be good to go.
For my classes, I use the camera app every day to frame my tutoring sessions, making sure my backdrop is centered, that there is no clutter, or nothing that should not be seen in the picture.
