Hi Patsy. Answer this the same way you would if it were an equality.
First clear the fraction by multiplying both sides by 3, this will give
x-2>3(2x+11) Now you can distribute on the right.
x-2>6x+33. Next you want x terms on the left so subtract 6x from both sides
-5x-2>33. Now you need the -2 away formthe x term, so add 2 to both sides.
-5x>35. Now is the tricky part, you have to divide both sides by -5, when you multiply or divide by a negative, the inequality reverses, so you get
x<-7
