Currently Revit out of the box does not use your graphics card to create renderings. It uses your CPU unless you purchase a add on plugin is such as Vray or Enscape. 3DS max can use your GPU and CPU and looks for ray tracing cores to speed up renderings. Therefore the current graphic cards that have this capability are RTX 20XX series.

typically any card that uses Ray tracing. Geforce RTX 20xx series are good for this. Its built for rendering.
