How do I add Revit links to worksets?

To use worksets in Revit, a model must first have worksharing enabled (if you are unsure if workshare is enabled, I recommend searching for this question separately). Within a workshared model, select the desired link in any view and change the "Workset" dropdown within the properties panel to the desired workset.

In order to place any Revit link onto a workset, you must have workshare enabled on a project, if it is not enabled then worksets are not available. Work share can be created from the collaborate tab.Once worksets, are enabled then you can create a workset you want or use or just use the default one called Workset1. After you have a workset then go to a view that you can select the linked model from and then in the properties panel you will see worksets available to pick from in the dropdown. And it will be on a workset that gives you global controls.
