Does Revit do everything?

Revit can be used to design and construct fully furnished computer-based buildings. This includes electrical components, plumbing, custom flooring and walls, and even furniture or other objects to place both inside and outside. However, the program will not do everything and architects do still need to utilize outside resources. For instance, if you were to price a structure, Revit can tell you how many walls, floors, doors, etc. you have in a design, but it would be up to you to find and compare pricing for such materials to know the cost.

Revit doesn't "do everything", however, there isn't much that it can't do. Stepping out beyond the normal AEC offerings opens an entirely different world, a world where whatever you can imagine, you can likely build. Seat time is the best way to ingrain learned Revit lessons.
