To clean out Junk Files on your machine, you will need to head to an Explorer Window by hitting the Windows Key + E at the same time. Once there, right click on your C: drive and select 'Properties'.
Once in the C: Properties page, click on Disk Cleanup button under General. Once there, 'Disk Cleanup' will calculate items in your Recycle Bin, Temp file locations and even older and unused system files. This tool will Scan and figure out what the computer doesn't need to have on its File System and delete these files.
You cannot hurt your computer by doing this. This process is safe and sanctioned by Microsoft.
