Follow your intuition about what sounds best for the song. The upper F# doesnt create any dissonance in this context and cleanly resolves up a half step to the top of C5. The only potentially harsh jump would be the tritone from F5 to B5 when the chord progression starts over, but if its sounding good in its context its right where it should be! Hope this helps!
