I need to know the answers to my home work step by step.

1) (5p+4)(4p+6)

2) (8x+1)(3x-4)

3) (2n+6)2 The 2 is squared

4) (4b+3)(7b-5)

Use the FOIL method. Multiply terms in this order:

First: (5p+4)(4p+6)   --->  5p x 4p = 20p^2

Outer (5p+4)(4p+6)   --->  5p x 6 = 30p

Inner (5p+4)(4p+6)   ---> 4 x 4p = 16p

Last (5p+4)(4p+6)     ---> 4 x 6 = 24

Add the terms:

20p^2 + 30p + 16p + 24

Then simplify the terms:

20p^2 + 46p + 24

Follow the same steps with the other problems.
