asked 03/08/19USB Tablet with Pen Not Working
Hi,
I have a Huion H420 USB Graphics Drawing Tablet Board Kit, but it's not working when I try to use the pen to draw on the whiteboard (it works with other programs, like OneNote or Paint). Do you have any suggestions as to how to fix this?

I know this is a very old question but I had this exact same issue with a Huion Inspiroy H610 Pro V2. Updated drivers etc, still would not work with Wyzant's whiteboard (but did work with OneNote and other applications, like Zoom's whiteboard.)
With latest drivers installed, I went to the executable "Huion Tablet" and under the "Digital Pen" tab uncheck the "Enable Windows Ink" checkbox. Click Apply. Now the tablet works with Wyzant's whiteboard.
Notably, it no longer seems to work with OneNote. Maybe there is another work around, or maybe you need to toggle this box on and off as you switch applications. For the time being, I need it to work with the Wyzant whiteboard more than OneNote, so I am leaving it off.
It seems like having this checked off makes the computer treat the pen essentially like a mouse left click, whereas when the box is checked on programs treat it somewhat differently.

Although I mostly use Wacom tablets, you may want to make sure that you have downloaded the latest drivers from the parent website onto your computer. www.huion.com/download/
Restarting the computer after downloading an updated driver is necessary.
Another thing to check would be your system preferences (mac) or control panel (windows). Therein you can view your connected navigation devices, such as your mouse, keyboard, or tablet. It should be listed as your Huion tablet properties, or something to that effect.
Lastly, if neither of the previous actions work, individual programs can also have individual settings when it comes to pens/pen pressure, so I would check in your specific programs' preference panel. Make sure that you have your Huion set as a control/navigation option. All programs differ from one another. I usually use Photoshop, and make sure my pen and pen pressure are registering in my "Brushes" control panel window.
I hope that this helps to some extent!

maybe your whiteboad program doesn't support the pen input function, onenote and paint programs support pen input. I have a Star G640 of XP-Pen ( https://www.xp-pen.com ) drawing Tablet. it is possible to get it worked with openboard , MS whiteboard , google jamboard , Zoom whiteboard ,Miro , AWW, Bitpaper and etc whiteboard apps.12/14/20
