x=5+3t, y=1+t, -Infinity<t<positive infinity

x=5+3t and  y=1+t  In this case you can just solve one

for t and substitute it back into the other.

t=y-1 so x=5+3(y-1) etc.

Answer 2

from y = 1 + t, solve for t and then substitute into the first equation.

you then have an equation of a straight line.
