This depends on what the timestamp structure is. Assuming the hex value is of the type time_t.. In windows C the time() function (time.h) returns the number of seconds since 00:00:00 UTC, January 1, 1970. Assuming that is the case:
time_t sysTime = time(NULL); // get number of seconds since beginning of Unix epoch
// note that for x64 this is a 64 bit unsigned int, for x32 this is a 32 bit unsigned int.
struct tm datetime = *localtime(&sysTime); // convert to a tm structure so we can get the items
// needed
int year = datetime.tm_year + 1900; // the tm_year element is years since 1900
int month = datetime.tm_month +1; // the tm_month is months since january (0 - 11) convert
// to 1 - 12
int day = datetime.tm_mday; // tm_mday is day of month ranges from 1 - 31 so
// no adjustment needed.
