THe remainder must always be LESS than the number you are dividing by
For example, consider the following INCORRECT problem of 13 divided by 4:

If you answer 2, then the remainder is 5 which is GREATER than 4,the number you
are dividing by.
You cannot put 13 things in groups of 4 and end up with a group 5 left over.
That last group of 5 will create another group of 4 with only 1 left over.
THe correct answer is 3 remainder 1
