time vs capacity

A water pump can fill a tank at the rate of 750 liters per hour. A tank has a capcity of 9000 liters. find the time needed to fill 7/15 of the tank.

1.  I took seven fifteenths of the tank's capacity. 7/15 of 9000 L; "of" means multiply. Ask a parent or sibling or friend or teacher, if you still cannot understand why 7/15 of the tank amounts to 4200 L (L for liters).
 
2.  Amount poured = amount poured per hour multiplied by # of hours (h); 4200 = 750h.
 
3.  To solve for h, divide equation in step 2 by 750.
