1.5 hours flying with 50mph wind. On return trip takes 2.5 hours flying against 50mph wind. How fast would the plane be flying with no wind?

Since d = rt and the distances are the same...

 

1.5(r + 50) = 2.5(r - 50)

1.5r + 75 = 2.5r - 125

r = 200
